New GRI Academy courses broaden career development opportunities

The GRI Academy, the world’s number one training provider for sustainability reporting, has expanded its learning offering with five recently added courses that address the latest trends in sustainability and corporate transparency.
By increasing the training available, the GRI Academy is broadening its focus beyond reporting to support professional development in sustainability and ESG.
The latest online learning includes:
- GRI–CDP Interoperability: Environmental Disclosure in Practice: how organizations can use GRI and CDP together to build a connected picture of environmental performance, and how interoperability helps navigate the reporting landscape while meeting regulator and investor expectations.
- Managing What Matters: ESG Integration in Risk Management: how sustainability impacts and business risks connect – offering practical steps for practitioners and senior decision-makers to embed ESG considerations into enterprise risk management.
- Nature Reporting Fundamentals: examines why organizations depend on and impact nature and how to manage these impacts, including the complementary roles of GRI and the TNFD Disclosures.
- Reporting on Scope 3 Emissions: From Basics to Best Practices: supports professionals on their emissions reporting journey, covering value-chain mapping, information quality, science-based targets and common disclosure challenges.
- Digital Sustainability Reporting Explained: unpacks how organizations can prepare digital reports, the role of GRI, IFRS and ESRS taxonomies in structured and comparable disclosure, and how digitalization enhances transparency and decision-making.

The five new courses are available online and can be completed at the learner’s own pace. They are offered in English, require no prior knowledge and award a certificate of completion.
