Currently 11 actively managed US equity funds and six US equity index funds collectively manage SEK 41 billion.

The Swedish Fund Selection Agency (Fondtorgsnämnden, FTN) has announced that procurement for US equity funds and US index funds will take place in the first quarter of 2026.
Currently, 11 actively managed US equity funds with a focus on large and mid-cap companies are offered on the platform, representing around SEK 12 billion in capital.
In addition, six US equity index funds, also covering large and mid-cap exposures and collectively manage approximately SEK 29 billion.
The upcoming procurements are structured as follows:
- Actively managed US & North America equity funds
- Category: Large and mid-cap companies
- Notice: Q1 2026
- Current funds: 11
- Total volume: SEK 12 billion
- Passively managed US & North America equity index funds
- Category: Large and mid-cap companies
- Notice: Q1 2026
- Current funds: 6
- Total volume: SEK 29 billion
FTN stated that more precise details, including the timing and draft procurement specifications, will be published when available.
The agency is also inviting comments and questions regarding the procurement plan via procurement@ftn.se, though it notes that not all inquiries can be directly answered.
Before the US categories open, the next procurement on FTN’s calendar will be Actively Managed Global Technology Funds (IT & Communication), scheduled to open for tenders in October 2025.
