Consultation | Climate stewardship questionnaire for asset manager selection and monitoring by IIGCC

IIGCC has developed a questionnaire for use by investors to assess the climate stewardship of their external managers and integrate this into the selection, appointment and monitoring process. The questionnaire primarily builds on the Net Zero Stewardship Toolkit and aims to support investors in meeting expectations under the Net Zero Asset Managers and Paris Aligned Asset Owner initiatives. It seeks to align with existing guidance and frameworks to promote consistency in due diligence and reporting.The proposed guidance is now open for consultation here until 28 February 2023. IIGCC would highly value feedback from asset owners, asset managers and investment consultants to ensure that the final version is useful and widely applicable.The guidance can be downloaded here.
