WBCSD Implementation Guidance for the IFRS SDS and ESRS

The CFO Network of the World Business Council for Sustainable Development (WBCSD) has released an outstanding resource to help companies navigate the implementation of the two main sets of sustainability reporting standards coming into effect – namely the IFRS Sustainability Disclosure Standards (IFRS SDS) and the European Sustainability Reporting Standards (ESRS), as well as related information about the SEC disclosure rules. 

The Implementation Guidance for the International Sustainability Standards Board (ISSB) Standards and the European Sustainability Reporting Standards (ESRS) is a web-based resource providing comparisons, resources, guidance questions and recommendations. It’s a great way to companies to “break things down” into digestible components to familiarize themselves with the intricacies of the different reporting schemes in a realistic way. There is a lot of information to take in. Best to take it one step at time.
